Made a pop up birthday card for a friend............

It's raining it's pouring but life is never boring.........It's been a while since I played with paper so I really enjoyed this evening rediscovering the joy of collage and pop up. It's quite amazing how a few images from magazines can create a beautiful miniature world where imagination has no limits......

I just have to tell you how enjoyable Monday Crafty Afternoons at Olivers has become.......I think today there were about 15 of us and it was really buzzing with creativity,
This is my new passion - Ripple Stitch Crochet. After many attempts of different colour combinations I am happy with this one inspired by a picture I saw.

What do you think?? I have another two thirds to do but as I've only been doing this for about three days I might finish sooner than anticipated!! It will have a dark green border. I was very happy with the mustard shade and the greens bought from a cheap and cheerful pound store.
